With a stunning watercolor cover by local Alpharetta artist, Elaine Jackson, At Your Service is a beautiful addition to any collection. Profiling North Atlanta communities, it serves up a collection of easy-to-make and timeless recipes with menus and tips on serving wine and food.
"At Your Service" is a collection of our members’ favorite recipes, old and new. As well as seven traditional food category chapters, the book includes menu ideas and wine selections for events as varied as fun courtside cuisine for a tennis match to an elegant and irresistible holiday dessert buffet. The "Quick-Fix Appetizers" and "What’s for Dinner?" sections highlight easy, limited ingredient solutions for those busy weeknights after school, work and other activities.
Each chapter opens with a brief synopsis of one of the areas in which our members live and volunteer. "This cookbook is not only full of great recipes, it highlights the communities we live in and the volunteer work we do in these areas," explains JLGNF President Kris Wilson. " ‘At Your Service’ is more than just a fundraiser for us, it’s a signature piece that speaks about who we are as a volunteer organization. From Alpharetta to Suwanee, there’s something for every chef in our cookbook."
