The Junior League of Gwinnett and North Fulton Counties is proud of our diverse and growing membership.  Each year our active members have the opportunity to choose from a wide variety of placement options.  Those placements range from community based placements, focusing on working directly with our community partners, to fundraising placements that work to create innovative and exciting fundraisers aimed at raising money needed to fund our many community projects and grants.  Our placements are designed to provide community assistance as well as opportunities for member’s individual growth.

JLGNF provide three phases of membership:  provisional, active and sustaining.  Provisional members are candidates training and working on the requirements needed for admission to active status.  Our active members are those who have completed the provisional training and have all the rights and privileges of a full, active membership.  We are growing this population each year and currently have over 80 active members.

Sustaining members are those who have been active members for a minimum of five years and have chosen to change their league status to that of sustainer.  Sustainers have all the rights and privileges of active membership but do not have to fulfill placement or volunteer requirements.  They chose to continue their service to the Junior League of Gwinnett and North Fulton Counties but no longer have the right to vote.  Our current sustainer population is 105 and growing.

Membership in The Junior League of Gwinnett and North Fulton Counties comes with numerous benefits.  In addition to rewarding volunteer opportunities and working with amazing women, members receive continued training and education opportunities through our Junior League University programs.  These programs are designed to offer members the opportunity to grow both in their league lives as well as in their professional and personal lives.
