Sustaining members are those members who have fulfilled the Active membership requirements for a minimum of five years and who choose to change their status to that of a Sustainer. In order to change from an Active to a Sustainer status, you must submit a change of status request to the Corresponding Secretary by March 1st.
Sustainers have all the rights and privileges of active membership but can no longer vote or hold office. They have no placement or volunteer requirements but choose to continue their support of The Junior League of Gwinnett and North Fulton Counties through voluntary projects. Our amazing sustainer population continues to “sustain” our league through fundraisers, holiday socials and auctions, ticket sales and of course through their constant support of league fundraisers and community projects. We like to think of the Junior League of Gwinnett and North Fulton Counties as a life-long relationship and it is through our Sustainers that we are able to achieve that goal.
